Use this gearing calculator to figure out gear-inches for combinations of Pinion gearboxes, Schlumpf drives, Rohloff Speedhub, derailleur systems, and many internally geared hubs including SRAM 3x7 and Dual-Drive. Also, since gear-inches is not really a measure of mechanical advantage (thus, won't give indication of such for shorter or longer cranks), we provide a "normalized" gear-inches number, which indicates the effective mechanical advantage of the system in terms of standard 170mm cranks.
