BARC Monthly Ride - Guadalupe River Trail (San Jose)

Contact:

This month we will ride the Guadalupe River Trail between Alviso and San Jose. Meet in the parking lot at the Alviso Educational Center (Santa Clara Valley Water District).

The trail is a smooth, flat, paved trail that meanders alongside the Guadalupe River. Expect a casual, relaxed pace with stops/regroups as needed.

Distance: 20 miles

Pace: About 10 mph when rolling on flats

Route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/6564319

Optional lunch at Maria Elena's (Mexican food) in Alviso afterward. I'm also planning to ride the dirt/non-paved loop in Alviso after lunch to do some bird watching (~9 miles extra).

Side Note: A discussion on changing the day of this monthly ride is in progress in the Discussion section, decision coming in May.

I plan to go no matter whether we have a booth this year or not. Perhaps we could meet before the show and squeeze a ride in?
