Cup of Joe Folsom to Old Sac

Ride Summary: Join us for a ride to Sac Old Town, the ride is approximately 60 miles. With the option of catching the light rail back.  Once there we’ll decide on coffee shop or restaurant that we are in the mood for. I’m partial to “Rio City Café” they cater to cyclists and allow us to bring bikes inside. Don’t forget to bring cash. The ride is fairly flat with a couple of rolling hills. This is meant to be a leisurely ride but if you wish to ride faster please meet at regrouping sites. The regroups sites will be Hazel crossing, River blend Park (w/restrooms) and Guy West Bridge.

Rain cancels. Helmet required. If unable to attend, please update your RSVP

Hope you can join us!

There are three routes: 15, 35, and 70 miles. Leslie, Carol and I are planning to do the 35 mile route as it has only 970' of climbing. The 70 mile route has 3404' of climbing. All three routes are fully supported with SAG vehicles, well-stocked rest stops, route markings, and cue sheets.

October is usually the nicest month of the year in the Monterey area. As warm as summer, but without the fog! Great scenery on this trail and worth the drive.
