E-45 Chocolate Fish Coffee Ride - Beat The Heat


Meetup: 5:45 am, roll out: 6:00 am

Ride Summary:

Terrain: Paved multi-use trail with a few rolling hills, and a small amount of streets.

Distance: 45 miles.

Speed: 15-20 mph.

Sweep: Frequent regroups.

Rain cancels.

Helmets required.

Ride from Folsom to The Chocolate Fish for  coffee and back. Regroups at the River-Bend Park restrooms (on the right side of the trail just before the bridge) and Guy West Bridge (rock restrooms/drinking fountain) on the way back.

If you feel the ride is too long you can take the light rail off of Guy West Bridge at 65th St., or if you don't want to coffee with us you can turn back at Guy West Bridge.

RSVPs are social commitments. Your host and organizers go to great lengths, and often personal  expense, to make these events fun and enjoyable for you. If unable to attend, PLEASE update your RSVP.

Only the meeting spot is set at this time, this post will be edited as details are determined. Although route is TBD, it will include the Contra Costa Canal Trail and/or the Iron Horse Trail. Distance about 20 miles. Pace about ~10 mph as usual for Monthly Ride.
