Marina Green to Tiburon via Golden Gate Bridge


We'll Meet at Marina Green Park in the Marina District, San Francisco, And ride thru Crissy Field, in the beautiful Presidio Park, You might want to bring your camera, the views on this ride are spectacular!! ...then up to the Golden Gate Bridge we go! using extra caution as we cross, on thru Sausalito passing Mikes Bikes, and on across the marsh, staying on the path, we'll sail around Strawberry, before baiting our way to the Jaws of Tiburon, Feeding Time! ...straying just a bit from our original course while coasting back to our starting point in San Francisco.

Distance: 37.5 miles
Pace: slow, fun & scenic.

I will get there around 9 AM

Note: 10 AM start time  *Extra Half Hour to get to the City!
(9:30 AM start from March through October)
November through February: 10:00 AM

Catrike has resolved its production issues for the eon-green color and is now producing recumbent trikes in this color again.

Catrike has discontinued its popular Hyper-yellow and Eon-green colors due to supply issues with the green powder-coating ingredient used in both colors.

HP Velotechnik offers electric recumbent trike options for most trikes models using Shimano STEPS motor system.

Shimano has entered the e-bike market with its STEPS motor system, and HP has adapted this system to most of its recumbent trike models.

Registration for the Wine Country Century is open. Usually a number of BARC riders (BARCers?) do this ride. The ride is limited to 2500 riders.

Come on out and ride the Coyote Creek Trail (CCT) then afterward, if you like, ride (or drive) over to the Hellyer Park Velodrome to participate in and/or watch some recumbents race on the track!

Sorry for the late post. The last two years I was able to organize a space for BARC and participate in a pre-ride, but my brass concert season has prevented it this year.
