Ride the Fire Roads of Tilden and Wildcat Canyon - Late Notice

Contact:

This is a 13 mile ride starting from Inspiration Point, along Nimitz Way, then going along San Pablo Ridge, down to Wildcat Canyon and back up to Inspiration Point mostly on dirt/gravel roads. It is very scenic with views of the Bay, Mt Tam, Mt Diablo, lots of flowers in the lower sections and it is mostly isolated. The climbs are doable by trike except for maybe very short sections.

You will need at least 1.5 inch tires (because of gravel on roads), helmet, water, spare tube, and some snacks or light lunch. Temperatures are usually mild in this area. There is only one stop for water latter in the route. There are some restrooms at the beginning and latter in the route.

We will ride at a moderate pace and stop to enjoy the views
