SF Bay Trail Monthly Ride

Contact:

Note start time now for the warmer months of March through October! 9:30 AM

Meet at the NE corner of Central Ave. and Rydin Rd. (by the SF Bay Trail) in Richmond, CA. We generally ride the SF Bay Trail in a northerly direction to Point Richmond where we stop at Starbucks for coffee, snacks and conversation before making our way back to the starting point via the Dornan Tunnel and Brickyard Cove.

Usually there is a group of riders that start early at the very end of Powell Street in Emeryville (near the marina), riding to the main ride's starting point. Those that start in Emeryville have a 30+ mile ride. Plan to meet 1 hour before the main ride start, rolling away 45 minutes before. Pace from Emeryville is a little higher (~3 mph) than the main ride.

Distance: ~18 miles. There is a section of the route on the road with bike lane, rest of route is on bike paths.

Pace: ~10-12 mph when rolling on flat ground.

This ride occurs on the third Sunday of every month!

Start Time:

March through October: 9:30 AM

November through February: 10:00 AM
